- Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies to handle and resolve security incidents
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports of all security incidents and investigations
- Utilize strong observational skills to identify and report any potential safety hazards or policy violations
- Implement and enforce store security policies and procedures to prevent loss and maintain a safe shopping environment
- Conduct regular audits of merchandise and inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any security concerns or questions from customers and employees
- Continuously stay up-to-date on the latest security and loss prevention techniques and practices
- Act as a positive role model and advocate for a culture of safety and security within the store.
Prior Experience In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection: This Qualification Is Essential For An Asset Protection Detective At Macy's As It Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures.
Knowledge Of Security Systems And Technology: A Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience Working With Cctv, Alarm Systems, And Other Security Technology Used To Deter And Detect Theft.
Strong Observation And Investigation Skills: An Asset Protection Detective Must Be Able To Observe Customers And Employees Discreetly, Gather Evidence, And Conduct Investigations Into Potential Theft Or Fraudulent Activity.
