  • Conduct thorough investigations into theft, fraud, and other suspicious activities within the store
  • Monitor and review surveillance footage to identify and prevent potential security threats
  • Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies to handle and resolve security incidents
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports of all security incidents and investigations
  • Utilize strong observational skills to identify and report any potential safety hazards or policy violations
  • Implement and enforce store security policies and procedures to prevent loss and maintain a safe shopping environment
  • Conduct regular audits of merchandise and inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any security concerns or questions from customers and employees
  • Continuously stay up-to-date on the latest security and loss prevention techniques and practices
  • Act as a positive role model and advocate for a culture of safety and security within the store.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection: This Qualification Is Essential For An Asset Protection Detective At Macy's As It Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Security Systems And Technology: A Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience Working With Cctv, Alarm Systems, And Other Security Technology Used To Deter And Detect Theft.
