Asset Protection Detective

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our merchandise and customers. 1. Monitor and patrol the store premises to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and employees.
2. Conduct routine inspections of merchandise and inventory to identify any potential risks or security vulnerabilities.
3. Utilize surveillance systems and other security equipment to monitor and track any suspicious activity.
4. Respond quickly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies, including detaining and apprehending suspects if necessary.
5. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective security procedures and protocols.
6. Stay up-to-date on current security trends and techniques to continuously improve the store's security measures.
7. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing any security concerns they may have, and maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.
8. Complete thorough and accurate incident reports for any security incidents or violations and follow up as needed.
9. Work closely with law enforcement and legal authorities as needed to investigate and resolve any security-related incidents.
10. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations, especially when handling sensitive information or dealing with difficult individuals.
