Asset Protection Detective

Macy's is searching for an experienced and diligent Asset Protection Detective to join our team and help ensure the safety of our customers, staff, and merchandise. In this role, you will be responsible for detecting, deterring, and preventing theft, fraud, and other criminal activities in the store. 1. Monitor and patrol the store to ensure safety and security of customers, staff, and merchandise.
2. Investigate theft, fraud, and other criminal activities and document reports accordingly.
3. Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
4. Work with store staff to identify and implement security measures.
5. Maintain and update security records and logs.
6. Provide excellent customer service to customers and staff.
7. Operate computer and tablet to access and update information.
8. Remain alert and aware of potential suspicious behavior.
9. Communicate effectively with store staff and customers.
10. Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.
