  1. Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and merchandise.
  2. Conduct surveillance and identify potential security threats.
  3. Actively patrol designated areas to deter theft and other criminal activity.
  4. Utilize CCTV and other security systems to monitor and investigate suspicious activity.
  5. Collaborate with store management and law enforcement to investigate and resolve security incidents.
  6. Conduct thorough and accurate investigations into theft, fraud, and other security-related incidents.
  7. Effectively communicate with customers, employees, and law enforcement in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Maintain detailed and accurate records of security incidents and investigations.
  9. Implement and enforce store security policies and procedures.
  10. Provide training and guidance to store associates on theft prevention and safety measures.
  11. Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
  12. Remain vigilant and alert in high-risk situations.
  13. Work closely with other store departments to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
  14. Take immediate action in emergency situations and follow proper crisis management protocols.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of store security measures.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Loss Prevention, Including Knowledge Of Theft Prevention Techniques, Surveillance Tactics, And Investigation Procedures.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Asset Protection Detectives Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Employees, And Law Enforcement Agencies. This Includes Verbal And Written Communication Skills.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role, As Asset Protection Detectives Are Responsible For Identifying And Documenting Suspicious Behavior Or Activities.

  • Physical Fitness: This Position Requires Individuals To Be Physically Fit And Able To Stand, Walk, And Move For Extended Periods Of Time. They May Also Need To Restrain Or Apprehend Individuals If Necessary.

  • Knowledge Of Store Operations: A Thorough Understanding Of Store Operations And Procedures Is Important For Asset Protection Detectives, As They Must Be Able To Identify Potential Areas Of Vulnerability And Make Recommendations For Improvement.
