- Conduct thorough investigations of potential theft and fraud cases within the store premises.
- Monitor and review surveillance footage to identify any suspicious activities or individuals.
- Create and maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of investigations.
- Work closely with store management and law enforcement agencies to resolve any security or safety issues.
- Implement and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures to prevent and reduce theft and fraud.
- Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Train and educate store employees on theft prevention techniques and procedures.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas of the store to prevent unauthorized activity.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address any potential security threats.
- Stay updated on the latest security and loss prevention trends and technologies to continuously improve department strategies.
- Act as a visible presence within the store to deter potential criminal activity.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any security or safety emergencies within the store.

Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: Candidates For An Asset Protection Detective Position At Macy's Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Including Surveillance And Investigation Methods.
