Asset Protection Detective

Macy's is seeking an experienced and motivated Asset Protection Detective to join our security team. The Asset Protection Detective is responsible for protecting company assets and personnel in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to security and be able to provide a safe and secure shopping experience for our customers.We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications: • At least 1-2 years of security experience in a retail setting• Proven customer service and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong investigative and attention to detail• Flexibility to work varied shiftsIf you possess the qualifications mentioned above and have a passion for protecting assets and personnel, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor store activity to detect any suspicious behavior or theft
2. Investigate any incidents of theft or suspicious behavior
3. Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure customer safety
4. Respond to and resolve customer complaints and inquiries
5. Provide a safe and secure shopping experience for customers
6. Report security concerns or violations to the appropriate personnel
7. Create and maintain records of security incidents and investigations
8. Utilize surveillance equipment to identify potential security risks
9. Remain up-to-date on security industry trends and best practices
10. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
