Asset Protection Associate

1. Monitor and patrol the store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security risks.
2. Identify and report any suspicious or concerning behavior to management.
3. Utilize CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to monitor activity in the store.
4. Conduct bag checks and assist with store exit checks as needed.
5. Collaborate with management and other team members to create and implement security strategies.
6. Respond quickly to any security incidents or emergencies and take appropriate action.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of any security incidents or losses.
8. Conduct regular audits of store inventory and identify any discrepancies or potential risks.
9. Assist with training store employees on security protocols and procedures.
10. Communicate effectively with customers and employees to diffuse potentially volatile situations.
11. Stay up-to-date on the latest security and loss prevention techniques and procedures.
12. Ensure compliance with all company and legal policies and procedures.
13. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
14. Continuously monitor and assess potential security risks and make recommendations for improvement.
15. Act as a liaison with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
