1. Monitor and maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers, employees, and merchandise.
2. Utilize surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols to identify and deter potential theft and fraudulent activities.
3. Respond to and handle any security incidents or emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
4. Work closely with store management and other team members to ensure proper security protocols are being followed.
5. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
6. Conduct thorough and accurate investigations into any suspected incidents of theft or fraud.
7. Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed and assist with any legal proceedings related to security incidents.
8. Maintain accurate records and reports of all security-related incidents and activities.
9. Stay up-to-date on the latest security procedures and technologies to continuously improve and enhance security measures.
10. Assist with training new team members on security procedures and protocols.
11. Communicate effectively with customers and employees to address any security concerns or issues.
12. Uphold Macy's values and policies at all times and act as a role model for other team members.
