Job Description

As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our stores and merchandise. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, customer service focused, and has a strong understanding of loss prevention procedures.   1. Monitor store entrances and exits to prevent theft and maintain a safe shopping environment for customers.
  2. Conduct regular surveillance of store premises, including using CCTV cameras and other security measures to prevent and detect potential theft.
  3. Maintain a strong understanding of loss prevention procedures and company policies to effectively prevent and respond to theft incidents.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by actively patrolling the store, greeting and assisting customers, and responding to any security concerns or incidents.
  5. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement strategies to prevent theft and minimize loss.
  6. Conduct thorough investigations of any suspected theft or fraudulent activity, including collecting evidence, reviewing surveillance footage, and working with law enforcement if necessary.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy to ensure merchandise is properly accounted for and to prevent shrink.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in loss prevention and asset protection to continuously improve the effectiveness of security measures.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and management to report any security concerns or incidents, as well as provide updates on loss prevention efforts.
  10. Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all employees and customers.
