Technology Manager - Enterprise Data Technology
At M&T Bank, we are looking for an experienced Technology Manager - Enterprise Data Technology to join our team. This individual will be responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Enterprise Data Technology team. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of business analysis, data architecture, software development, and project management.The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, creative problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills. They will have strong analytical and technical skills, and the ability to lead a team of highly skilled professionals. They will also have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services environment.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about technology and transforming our data capabilities to support the growth of our business. Responsibilities:
- Lead the Enterprise Data Technology team in the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the highest levels of data quality, security, and compliance.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of database systems and applications.
- Design and develop data models and ETL processes.
- Monitor the performance and scalability of databases and applications.
- Analyze and optimize database queries and application performance.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Assist with the development and implementation of software development best practices.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful integration of data solutions.
- Provide leadership and coaching to team members.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
