Senior Tech/Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Tech/Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our M&T Bank team and help protect our clients from cyber threats. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Bank’s Cyber Security Risk Management team and be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential cyber security threats.To be successful in this role, you must have a strong technical background in cyber security, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a risk management or cyber security role. In addition, you must have a deep understanding of cyber security threats and risk management frameworks, as well as the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple business units. Responsibilities:

1. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential cyber security threats.
2. Develop and implement cyber security risk management strategies.
3. Monitor and analyze cyber security incidents to determine the root cause.
4. Develop preventive measures to reduce the risks of cyber threats.
5. Work with stakeholders across multiple business units to ensure cyber security compliance.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security threats and industry standards.
7. Create detailed reports and documentation of cyber security risks.
8. Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on cyber security risk management.
9. Implement cyber security awareness campaigns for employees.
10. Collaborate with IT, network, and security teams to ensure optimal cyber security posture.
