The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and processing residential mortgage loans in compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and all other applicable regulations.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in mortgage origination and a thorough understanding of the CRA. They should also possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A thorough knowledge of the residential mortgage loan process and all federal and state regulations governing lending is a must for this role.If you are an experienced CRA Mortgage Originator, who is dedicated to excellence in customer service and has a commitment to compliance with all applicable regulations, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Originate and process residential mortgage loans in compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and all other applicable regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work well under pressure and remain organized while managing multiple tasks.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the residential mortgage loan process and all federal and state regulations governing lending.
- Stay up to date on all relevant industry trends and developments.
- Assist customers in finding the best mortgage loan product to meet their needs.
- Prepare and review loan applications and documents.
- Educate customers on the loan process, loan products, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor loan progress and provide updates to customers throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
