
Production Electro - Tech
The Production Electro-Tech performs a variety of tasks and services in support of the daily production of the newspaper. The Electro-Tech is responsible for the repair and maintenance of both production and facility equipment. The Electro-Tech communicates and documents all daily work activities and is able to perform complex, difficult assignments with minimal direction.
Attainment of journey level or equivalent skills in a trade or craft such as industrial electrician or electronics technician
5 years of relevant work experience in an industrial repair and maintenance department of a large-scale printing operation
Thorough knowledge and ability to utilize all relevant tools and test equipment and the proper use of all hand and power assisted tools.
