Job Description

Plans/conducts/assigns complex and sensitive human resources assignments requiring in-depth research and analysis of County Code, policies, procedures and guidelines, MOUs, and Civil Service Rules. Consults with, advises and makes recommendations to section heads on human resource management problems. Researches and analyzes a variety of organizational issues and recommends appropriate action. Provides advice on the interpretation and application of personnel policies and procedures. Develops policies, procedures and work plans to address potential and/or existing personnel problems and prevent their reoccurrence. Acts as advisor to section heads on human resources related matters, administrative and program decisions.

  • Experience in Performance Management / Employee Relations and Payroll

  • Highly developed knowledge of Civil Service Rules, County policies, procedures, and guidelines
