- Operate and maintain nuclear facilities in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
- Monitor and control nuclear processes to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in equipment or processes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment and processes are in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete tasks and projects.
- Develop and implement new procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and safety.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Act as a liaison between the laboratory and external agencies, providing necessary information and documentation.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document and report any incidents, accidents, or near misses to appropriate parties.
- Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to maintain optimal performance.
- Adhere to all laboratory policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Nuclear Operations, Preferably At A National Laboratory Or Other High-Level Facility.
Knowledge And Experience In Operating And Maintaining Complex Nuclear Equipment And Systems.
Familiarity With All Relevant Safety Procedures And Regulations, Including Those Specific To Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And Make Critical Decisions Under Pressure.
