- Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems on shift, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance of mechanical systems.
- Review and analyze data from mechanical systems, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies and processes into our systems.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, identifying and addressing any potential hazards.
- Prepare and present reports and updates on the status and performance of mechanical systems to management and other stakeholders.
- Take ownership of projects and initiatives related to mechanical systems, ensuring their successful completion within designated timelines and budgets.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field.
Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Mechanical System Design And Operation.
Experience With Project Management And Ability To Lead A Team.
Familiarity With Nuclear Facility Operations And Safety Protocols.
