Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Process and Sampling Technician to join the Los Alamos National Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical sampling and process analysis and be comfortable working in a laboratory environment. This person must be highly organized, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to take initiative. Our Process and Sampling Technician will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, as well as at least three years of laboratory experience.In this role, you will be responsible for conducting chemical sampling and process analysis to ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate laboratory records and preparing reports. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all laboratory activities are completed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct chemical sampling and process analysis to ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory regulations.
  2. Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare reports.
  3. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all laboratory activities are completed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  4. Monitor laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure they are maintained to the highest standards.
  5. Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and process issues.
  6. Perform safety checks according to laboratory regulations.
  7. Assist with the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  9. Provide training and guidance to junior laboratory staff.
  10. Participate in laboratory meetings and provide input and feedback.
