- Manage and maintain the organization's Oracle databases, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.
- Perform regular database backups and recovery operations to prevent data loss.
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues.
- Optimize database systems for maximum efficiency, including tuning queries and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new database features and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain database standards, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the database systems by implementing appropriate access controls and data protection measures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues that arise, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and troubleshooting.
- Train and mentor team members on database management best practices.
- Perform data migrations and upgrades as needed.
- Work closely with application developers to ensure database design and performance meet business needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve any database-related issues.
- Continuously monitor and improve database security and data privacy measures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on database performance and any potential issues.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's mission and goals to align database management efforts accordingly.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
3-5 Years Of Experience As An Oracle Database Administrator, With A Strong Understanding Of Oracle Database Architecture And Administration.
Proficiency In Sql And Pl/Sql Programming Languages.
Experience With Performance Tuning And Troubleshooting Of Oracle Databases.
Certification In Oracle Database Administration, Such As Oracle Certified Professional (Ocp) Or Oracle Certified Master (Ocm).
