
Occupational Medicine Physician
Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for an experienced and committed Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical services that support the safety and health of our employees.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing quality medical care and has a strong commitment to workplace safety and well-being. The ideal candidate must have a Doctor of Medicine degree and must be board certified in Occupational Medicine and/or have equivalent expertise and experience. The candidate should also have a current license to practice medicine in the state of New Mexico or be able to obtain a license prior to beginning work.We are seeking an individual who has excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. The successful candidate will be highly organized and have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to maintain patient confidentiality is a must.The successful candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and highly motivated team of professionals in a unique and challenging environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services that support the safety and health of our employees.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advances in Occupational Medicine.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee health and safety.
- Conduct physicals, assessments, and medical screenings, as required.
- Monitor the health and safety of our employees and provide them with relevant advice and guidance.
- Record and maintain accurate medical records for our employees.
- Work with a team of medical professionals to develop and implement plans to promote workplace safety and health.
- Participate in the training and development of new employees.
- Maintain and update medical equipment and supplies.
Board-Certified In Occupational Medicine
Completion Of An Approved Residency In Occupational Medicine
Thorough Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Standards
Experience In Workers' Compensation
Knowledge Of Health And Safety Principles
Knowledge Of Ergonomics And Industrial Hygiene
Ability To Perform And Interpret Medical Tests And Procedures
Ability To Communicate Effectively With A Variety Of Personnel
