Nuclear Facilities Engineer

They should also have a strong understanding of safety regulations, nuclear power plant operations, and engineering principles.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering or related field, 5+ years of experience in nuclear or hazardous materials operations and maintenance, and proven leadership experience. Knowledge of hazardous materials storage and waste disposal regulations and experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the nuclear facilities.

3. Oversee the maintenance and repair of nuclear and hazardous materials facilities.
4. Develop and implement procedures and policies to ensure safe and efficient operations.

6. Provide training and guidance to staff on safety protocols and procedures.
7. Monitor and enforce hazardous materials storage and disposal regulations.
8. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop and maintain designs of nuclear facilities.
9. Prepare reports and documentation related to the operation and maintenance of nuclear facilities.
10. Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the nuclear facilities.
