  1. Handle and dispose of nuclear and hazardous materials in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment used for handling and storing materials.
  3. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all activities related to nuclear and hazardous materials.
  4. Collaborate with scientists and other team members to ensure safe and efficient handling of materials.
  5. Monitor and maintain radiation detection systems and equipment.
  6. Train and educate other employees on proper handling and disposal procedures.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to nuclear and hazardous materials.
  8. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns.
  9. Participate in emergency response drills and protocols.
  10. Operate specialized equipment and tools used for handling and analyzing materials.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate work schedules and tasks.
  12. Follow all security protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  13. Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures.
  14. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures related to nuclear and hazardous materials management.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry, Physics, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Working With Radioactive And/Or Hazardous Materials

  • Familiarity With Safety Protocols And Procedures For Handling And Disposing Of Nuclear And Hazardous Materials

  • Experience Operating And Maintaining Specialized Equipment Used For Handling And Analyzing Nuclear And Hazardous Materials

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.
