- Conduct nondestructive examinations on critical components and structures using phased array ultrasonic testing techniques.
- Utilize advanced technology and techniques to accurately and efficiently identify and detect any defects or abnormalities.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop and implement examination plans and procedures.
- Analyze and interpret examination results, and provide detailed reports and recommendations to relevant teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and procedures in all examinations and tests.
- Maintain and calibrate all equipment used for nondestructive examinations.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices, and suggest improvements to current procedures and techniques.
- Participate in the design and development of new nondestructive examination methods and technologies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure timely completion of examinations and accurate reporting of results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while conducting examinations and working in potentially hazardous environments.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on nondestructive examination techniques and procedures.
- Act as a subject matter expert on nondestructive examination methods and techniques.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to address any issues or concerns identified during examinations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all examinations, results, and recommendations.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its values and principles.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Nondestructive Examination (Nde) Techniques And Principles.
Certification In Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (Paut) Level Ii Or Iii, As Per Asnt Recommended Practices And Standards.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Conducting Paut Inspections For Critical Components And Structures, Preferably In A Nuclear Or High-Risk Environment.
Extensive Knowledge Of National And International Codes And Standards Related To Nde, Such As Asme, Aws, And Api.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment And Provide Technical Guidance To Junior Nde Technicians.
