- Conduct non-destructive assays (NDA) on nuclear materials using various techniques and equipment.
- Develop and implement NDA procedures and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze and interpret NDA data to determine the presence, quantity, and characteristics of nuclear materials.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely NDA results.
- Maintain and calibrate NDA equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in NDA technology and techniques.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with NDA equipment or procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling radioactive materials.
- Document and report NDA findings and results to stakeholders and management.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to NDA.
- Contribute to the development of new NDA methods and techniques.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of NDA experiments and tests.
- Provide technical support and expertise to other departments and projects within the laboratory.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of NDA procedures, data, and results.
- Actively participate in team meetings and discussions to share knowledge and ideas.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Physics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Non-Destructive Assay Techniques, Such As Gamma-Ray Spectrometry, Neutron Activation Analysis, Or X-Ray Fluorescence.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Fundamental Principles And Theories Related To Non-Destructive Assay.
Familiarity With Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Such As Nqa-1 And Iso 17025.
