  • Conduct research and analysis on current nonproliferation and international security issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement research projects and experiments.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in the field of nonproliferation and international security.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to team members and senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of new methods and techniques for nonproliferation and international security research.
  • Network and collaborate with other researchers and institutions in the field.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
  • Seek guidance and mentorship from senior team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of research data and results.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve research methods and processes.
  • Represent the laboratory at conferences, workshops, and other professional events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the NEN group leader or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: The Ideal Candidate For A Nen Graduate Student Job At Los Alamos National Laboratory Should Possess A Master's Or Ph.d. Degree In A Field Related To Nuclear Engineering, Such As Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Or Nuclear Materials Science.

  • Strong Academic Background: Candidates Should Have A Strong Academic Record, With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.5 In Their Graduate Studies.

  • Knowledge Of Nuclear Safety And Security Protocols: As A National Security Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory Places A High Emphasis On Nuclear Safety And Security. Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Protocols And Be Able To Apply Them In Their Work.

  • Research Experience: Nen Graduate Student Jobs At Los Alamos National Laboratory Require Candidates To Conduct Research In A Variety Of Areas, Such As Nuclear Weapons Design And Testing, Nuclear Energy, And Nuclear Materials. Previous Research Experience, Either In Academia Or Industry, Is Highly Desirable.
