Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Labware LIMS Developer to join our team at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In this role, you will work with a team to provide programming support and expertise for the Laboratory's Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The ideal candidate will have strong programming, analytical, and communication skills as well as a deep understanding of Labware LIMS.To be successful in this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. In addition, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Labware LIMS in a programming capacity. You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with other team members. The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly is essential.If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for programming and Labware LIMS, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain programming solutions for the Laboratory's Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  2. Troubleshoot and problem solve quickly in order to effectively support the Laboratory's LIMS.
  3. Plan and execute programming-related projects in order to meet the Laboratory's requirements.
  4. Create and maintain documentation for programming solutions.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficient and successful completion of programming projects.
  6. Provide troubleshooting and technical support for the Laboratory's LIMS.
  7. Monitor LIMS performance and usage and recommend corrective action when necessary.
  8. Research and implement new technologies and techniques to improve LIMS functionality.
  9. Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with other team members.
