Job Description

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated LabVIEW Engineer to develop and maintain reliable instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have the technical experience and knowledge to develop and integrate LabVIEW applications for a variety of systems. This position requires a curious, creative, and organized individual. If you are passionate about LabVIEW engineering and have the qualifications we are looking for, please apply today!Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in LabVIEW programming and development• Demonstrated proficiency in software development and integration• Proficiency in National Instruments products, including LabVIEW, Measurement Studio, and other related products• Ability to troubleshoot and debug LabVIEW code• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain reliable instrumentation and control systems using LabVIEW.
  2. Design, implement, and integrate LabVIEW applications for a variety of systems.
  3. Troubleshoot and debug LabVIEW code.
  4. Document LabVIEW software development process.
  5. Assist in the testing and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
  6. Provide technical support for other LabVIEW users.
  7. Utilize National Instruments products, such as LabVIEW, Measurement Studio, and other related products.
  8. Maintain a high level of accuracy in all development activities.
  9. Keep up-to-date with LabVIEW software and industry trends.
  10. Provide assistance in identifying and resolving software issues.
