Fire Protection Engineering Technician

Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineering Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing engineering support and technical advice with regards to fire protection systems and safety policies. 5. Provide training and guidance to personnel on fire protection engineering principles.
6. Identify potential fire hazards and implement corrective action plans.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with outside organizations, vendors, and contractors.
8. Assist with fire protection system inspections and testing.
9. Prepare reports, briefs, and other documentation related to fire protection engineering.
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety and security regulations.
