Financial Business Analyst

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Business Analyst to join our team. In this important role, you will be responsible for providing critical analysis and insight into the Laboratory’s financial operations. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, at least five years of experience in financial analysis, and a strong knowledge of financial data. The successful candidate must be an excellent problem solver, able to work independently as well as in a team setting, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

9. Develop, recommend, and implement financial policies and procedures.
10. Provide advice and recommendations on financial issues.
11. Work with other departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
12. Participate in audits, review financial records, and provide recommendations for improvement.
13. Assist in the development of strategic plans and goals.
14. Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
