Job Description

Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of five years of experience in electrical engineering, and a strong understanding of engineering principles. The Electrical Engineer will have a passion for problem solving and a commitment to delivering quality results. Our Electrical Engineer should be proactive, a team player, and have excellent communication skills. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and has the ability to multi-task. Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

  1. Design and develop electrical systems and components to meet project requirements.
  2. Analyze and troubleshoot existing electrical systems and equipment.
  3. Develop test plans and perform tests to assess performance of electrical systems.
  4. Create schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings to document electrical systems.
  5. Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance electrical systems.
  6. Provide technical guidance to other team members.
  7. Monitor and inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  8. Generate reports and documents to document project progress and results.
  9. Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical engineering principles and best practices.

Job Qualifications
