- Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining digital collections.
- Drive technical projects to success by creating and executing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain digital collection policies, procedures, and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments and teams to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for digital collection management.
- Oversee the selection, acquisition, and processing of digital assets, including metadata creation and preservation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors for digital asset management.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in digital collections and make recommendations for implementation.
- Develop and manage budgets for digital collection projects and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
