Job Description

Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for a highly motivated and creative Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing projects related to BIM, including developing management strategies, overseeing project teams, and managing project budgets. We are seeking a knowledgeable professional with a passion for continuous improvement and drive for excellence.To qualify, applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the Building Information Modeling field, including managing BIM projects, developing BIM standards, and overseeing BIM implementation plans. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for this position.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality Building Information Modeling services. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies and projects.
  2. Oversee project teams and manage project budgets.
  3. Implement BIM standards and plans.
  4. Provide high-quality BIM services.
  5. Maintain excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  6. Monitor progress of BIM projects and make necessary adjustments.
  7. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  8. Stay up-to-date with changes in the BIM industry.
  9. Train and mentor team members in the use of BIM tools.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any BIM-related issues.
