  1. Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  2. Maintain and monitor the college's technical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, including updates and upgrades.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement new technology solutions that enhance the college's efficiency and productivity.
  5. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and FAQs, to assist faculty, staff, and students in utilizing the college's technical resources.
  6. Train and educate faculty, staff, and students on the proper use of technology and software applications.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments to provide innovative solutions and improve the college's technical capabilities.
  8. Manage and prioritize technical support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  9. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  10. Maintain inventory of hardware and software and make recommendations for upgrades and replacements as needed.
  11. Adhere to all security protocols and procedures to protect the college's data and systems.
  12. Act as a liaison between the college and external technical support teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  13. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
  14. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the college's technical support services.
  15. Adhere to all college policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Technical Support Roles, Preferably In A Higher Education Environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Various Operating Systems, Software Applications, And Hardware Components.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Diagnose And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Support End-Users Of Varying Technical Abilities.
