
Senior Technical Support Specialist

- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Maintain and monitor the college's technical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, including updates and upgrades.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement new technology solutions that enhance the college's efficiency and productivity.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and FAQs, to assist faculty, staff, and students in utilizing the college's technical resources.
- Train and educate faculty, staff, and students on the proper use of technology and software applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments to provide innovative solutions and improve the college's technical capabilities.
- Manage and prioritize technical support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software and make recommendations for upgrades and replacements as needed.
- Adhere to all security protocols and procedures to protect the college's data and systems.
- Act as a liaison between the college and external technical support teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the college's technical support services.
- Adhere to all college policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Technical Support Roles, Preferably In A Higher Education Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Various Operating Systems, Software Applications, And Hardware Components.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Diagnose And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Support End-Users Of Varying Technical Abilities.
