  1. Develop and deliver curriculum for nursing science and clinical practice courses to undergraduate students.
  2. Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with program objectives and student learning outcomes.
  3. Provide instruction and guidance to students in both classroom and clinical settings.
  4. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student success.
  5. Evaluate student performance and provide timely and constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  6. Serve as a mentor and role model for students, demonstrating professionalism and ethical behavior in the healthcare field.
  7. Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing science and clinical practice, incorporating new information into curriculum and instruction.
  8. Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and quality in the program.
  9. Participate in department and college meetings, committees, and other activities as assigned.
  10. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, diversity, and cultural competency.
  12. Assist with the recruitment and retention of students by participating in outreach activities and providing academic advising.
  13. Attend professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of current trends in nursing education.
  14. Represent the college and program in a professional and positive manner to the community and healthcare partners.
  15. Uphold and adhere to all college policies and procedures related to teaching, student support, and professional conduct.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing Science Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Clinical Practice.

  • Active Licensure As A Registered Nurse In The State Of California, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Demonstrated Experience Teaching At The College Level, With A Strong Understanding Of Curriculum Development And Student Assessment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Diverse Academic Environment.

  • Knowledge And Experience In Evidence-Based Practice And Current Trends In Nursing Education, With A Commitment To Ongoing Professional Development And Continuous Improvement In Teaching Methods.
