- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures and lessons on various topics within the field of architecture to undergraduate students.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and promotes academic success.
- Utilize various teaching methods and tools, such as multimedia presentations and hands-on activities, to enhance student learning and comprehension.
- Design and implement assignments and projects that allow students to apply their knowledge and develop practical skills.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance and progress, and offer support and guidance as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in the field of architecture, and incorporate this knowledge into curriculum and teaching materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Architecture department to develop and revise curriculum, assess student learning outcomes, and ensure program alignment with industry standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of the department.
- Actively engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about developments in the field.
- Maintain regular office hours and be available for student consultations and academic advising.
- Foster a supportive and respectful relationship with students, colleagues, and staff, and serve as a positive role model for students.
- Adhere to all college policies and procedures, as well as ethical and professional standards in all interactions with students and colleagues.
A Master's Degree In Architecture Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Teaching Experience At The Post-Secondary Level.
Demonstrated Expertise In Architectural Design And Theory.
Current Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Technologies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Students And Colleagues.
