  1. Design and develop risk management solutions using Murex Risk systems for the London Stock Exchange Group's trading activities.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Lead the development and implementation of new risk management capabilities, ensuring they are scalable and efficient.
  4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
  5. Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to Murex Risk systems and propose solutions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in risk management and Murex technology.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the risk management systems.
  8. Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  9. Develop and maintain technical documentation for risk management systems.
  10. Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure risk management systems meet security standards.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of risk management systems.
  12. Work with project managers to plan and prioritize development tasks.
  13. Communicate progress and issues to project stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  14. Conduct training sessions for end-users on risk management systems.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for Murex Risk systems and provide guidance to other teams within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Murex Risk Management: A Senior Lead Murex Risk Developer Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Murex Risk Management Tools And Processes, Including Risk Analytics, Var Calculations, And Stress Testing.

  • Strong Technical Skills: This Role Requires Advanced Programming Skills In Languages Such As Sql, Java, And Python. Candidates Should Also Have Experience With Murex Development, Configuration, And Customization.

  • Risk Management Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Financial Risk Management, With A Deep Understanding Of Market, Credit, And Liquidity Risk, As Well As Regulatory Requirements Such As Frtb, Cva, And Sa-Ccr.

  • Leadership And Project Management Experience: As A Senior Lead, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Developers And Overseeing The Delivery Of Risk Projects. Strong Leadership, Communication, And Project Management Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Financial Industry Knowledge: A Thorough Understanding Of Financial Markets, Instruments, And Products Is Necessary For This Role. Experience Working In A Similar Role Within A Financial Institution, Preferably In A Front Office Or Risk Management Function, Is Highly Desirable.
