Job Description

Logan Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This position requires a motivated individual with a passion for helping patients overcome communication and swallowing challenges. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current license in the state of Montana. The successful candidate must also have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.The Speech Language Pathologist will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy services to patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop individualized, evidence-based therapy plans for patients with communication and swallowing challenges.
  2. Provide assessments for patients to evaluate communication and swallowing abilities.
  3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
  5. Educate families and caregivers on speech-language and swallowing therapies.
  6. Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
  7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and laws regarding speech-language services.
  8. Maintain professional licensure and complete continuing education requirements.
