Senior Mobile Driver

Logan Health is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Senior Mobile Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving staff and patients to and from various locations in a safe and efficient manner.The ideal candidate will be a conscientious and dependable individual with a valid driver’s license and a proven track record of safe driving. Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and Logan Health's safety guidelines.
2. Drive staff and patients to and from various locations in a safe and timely manner.
3. Maintain the upkeep of the vehicle and ensure it is clean and in good working order.
4. Monitor the vehicle for mechanical issues and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
5. Assist passengers with entering/exiting the vehicle and loading/unloading items as needed.
6. Monitor the vehicle's fuel and oil levels and refuel/add oil as needed.
7. Ensure passengers are comfortable and secure in the vehicle.
8. Perform daily vehicle inspections and log any defects or issues.
9. Maintain accurate records of each trip, including destination, mileage, and time spent.
10. Follow proper safety procedures when driving in adverse weather conditions.
11. Communicate effectively with passengers and other staff.
12. Work independently with minimal supervision.
