
Senior Grant Writer
Logan Health is seeking a Senior Grant Writer to join our team and help further our mission to improve the lives of our patients and their families. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in grant writing, research, and project management, and be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. As the Senior Grant Writer, you will be responsible for developing and submitting high-quality grant proposals to support Logan Health’s mission and strategic goals. In addition, you will work collaboratively with the team to evaluate and create new grant opportunities, and provide training and support to other members of the organization. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in grant writing and research• Experience in healthcare industry preferred• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proven track record of successful grant awards and management• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
• Develop and submit grant proposals in support of Logan Health's mission and strategic goals
• Evaluate and create new grant opportunities
• Provide training and support to other members of the organization
• Maintain and update grant database
• Monitor grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of grant applications
• Research potential funding sources and prepare comprehensive grant proposals
• Assist in the development of budget and other materials required for grant submissions
• Develop and maintain relationships with key funding agencies and organizations
• Track and report on grant outcomes and performance metrics
• Participate in meetings to discuss grant progress and potential opportunities
