
RN - Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Infusion
Logan Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Infusion team. As a member of this specialized care team, you will be responsible for providing support and delivering treatments to pediatric hematology and oncology patients. The ideal candidate for this role will have a current RN license and at least one year of pediatric hemato-oncology experience in an acute care setting. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable interacting with patients and families from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities:
- Provide support and deliver treatments to pediatric hematology and oncology patients.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and establish intravenous lines in accordance with physician orders.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease processes, treatments, and self-care management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure patient privacy.
- Help to create a safe and welcoming environment for patients and families.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and research projects.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills
Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment
Current Licensure To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State Of Montana
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited College Or University
At Least Years Of Acute Care Nursing Experience
Previous Experience With Pediatric Oncology And Hematology Patients
Knowledge Of Chemotherapy And Other Cancer Treatments
Demonstrated Ability To Manage Complex Medical Cases
