
Patient Attendant
Logan Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Patient Attendant to join our team. Our ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing care to patients. This position requires someone who is organized, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comfortable, safe, and secure environment for our patients and guests.To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, and the ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion. You should also have basic computer skills and be comfortable using various medical equipment. Additionally, you should demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, compassionate, and respectful care to patients and guests.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Monitor patient activity and respond to any requests or needs.
- Assist with basic patient care, such as helping with meals, changing linen, and bathing.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient records and documents in accordance with medical regulations.
- Handle sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Assist in emergency situations as required.
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
