Responsibilities:

• Organize, maintain, and process patient medical records
• Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of medical data
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and laws
• Update patient records with new medical information
• Prepare medical documents for insurance claims
• Scan and upload medical documents into electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
• Manage filing system for medical records
• Respond to inquiries from patients and medical staff
• Monitor and maintain medical records system for accuracy and completeness
