
Medical Records Technician
Logan Health is looking for a Medical Records Technician to join our team! This role requires an eye for detail, an organized work ethic, and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive medical data. As our Medical Records Technician, you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and processing patient medical records. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology and at least two years of experience in a medical records technician role. Responsibilities:
- Organize, maintain, and process patient medical records
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of medical data
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and laws
- Update patient records with new medical information
- Prepare medical documents for insurance claims
- Scan and upload medical documents into electronic medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
- Manage filing system for medical records
- Respond to inquiries from patients and medical staff
- Monitor and maintain medical records system for accuracy and completeness
