
Medical Assistant - Orthopedics & Sports Medicine
We are looking for an exceptional Medical Assistant to join our Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team at Logan Health. The Medical Assistant will provide exceptional patient care and deliver quality service to our patients at our state-of-the-art facility. Our ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting with clinical tasks, patient care, and administrative duties. The Medical Assistant must have a strong understanding of the medical field and the ability to use electronic medical records (EMR) systems. The Medical Assistant must also be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a certified Medical Assistant. The candidate should have at least one year of experience working in an orthopedic and/or sports medicine clinic or hospital setting. Responsibilities:
- Assist clinical staff with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and updating medical records.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as assigned.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and other administrative tasks.
- Ensure patient privacy and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with medical regulations.
- Utilize medical equipment and technology, such as electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide other clerical support as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
