You must also have a valid license to practice as a Clinical Professional Counselor and eligibility for licensure in the state of Montana. Previous experience in a mental health setting is preferred.You should be an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, and have a strong understanding of different mental health conditions. You should also be able to maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients and have a genuine passion for helping those in need. Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality mental health care to individuals in need in a supportive environment.
2. Maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients.
3. Utilize evidence-based practices when counseling individuals.
4. Evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions.
5. Develop individualized treatment plans to meet client’s needs.
6. Monitor progress of treatment plans.
7. Document all counseling sessions and assessments.
8. Keep up to date with the latest advancements in the field of mental health.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
10. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals on the team.
