
Diagnostic Imaging Technician
At Logan Health, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Diagnostic Imaging Technician to join our team and provide our patients with high-quality care. The ideal candidate for this position will have an eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to providing accurate diagnostic imaging results.The Diagnostic Imaging Technician will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and helping to ensure the accuracy of imaging results. To be a successful candidate for this position, you should have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, a valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist, and at least one year of experience in the field. Additionally, you should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with others, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including providing instructions and answering questions.
- Ensure accuracy of imaging results by checking images for quality and clarity.
- Maintain patient records and document imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff to provide the best possible care for patients.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the imaging department.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Assist with training of new staff on imaging procedures and equipment.
