
CT Scan Technician
Logan Health is looking for a highly-skilled and patient-focused CT Scan Technician to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. With a passion for healthcare and providing excellent patient service, the ideal candidate must have the required qualifications and be able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.The CT Scan Technician is responsible for performing high-quality and accurate scans under the direction of a radiologist. They must ensure that all scan protocols and standards are met and that all images are obtained and reviewed appropriately. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to easily transition between tasks.The successful candidate will possess an associate’s degree in radiologic technology, certification as a CT Technologist, and at least one year of experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. They must also be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately and efficiently. Additionally, they must be able to maintain excellent patient relationships with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality and accurate CT scans under the direction of a radiologist.
- Ensure all scan protocols and standards are met and that all images are obtained and reviewed appropriately.
- Maintain excellent patient relationships with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of scans and patient information.
- Educate patients and families on the CT scan process and answer any questions they may have.
- Adhere to safety regulations and infection control procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CT scan equipment and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the CT scan department.
- Participate in continuing education courses and trainings to stay up to date on the latest technology and techniques.
- Provide support and assistance to radiologists in other areas of patient care, as needed.
