
Clinical Lab Scientist
Logan Health is looking for a passionate and dedicated Clinical Lab Scientist to join our team and help us provide excellent care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and analyzing laboratory tests, and interpreting the results of those tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in a medical laboratory discipline, such as medical technology, medical laboratory sciences, or clinical laboratory sciences, and must be certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP). In addition, you must have at least one year of professional experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze the results
- Interpret laboratory test results to aid in diagnosing and treating patients
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards
- Follow laboratory protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate and organized patient and laboratory records
- Assist other laboratory personnel as needed
- Develop and implement new laboratory techniques as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and training to new laboratory personnel
- Participate in research and development initiatives as needed
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In A Science-Related Field
Clinical Laboratory Scientist License From The Montana State Board Of Medical Examiners
Current Certification From The American Society For Clinical Pathology Or Equivalent
Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting
Knowledge Of Clinical Laboratory Principles
