
Cardiac Sonographer
Logan Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will use advanced imaging technology to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with a team of healthcare providers to provide accurate diagnoses and treatments to patients.To be successful in this role, you will need to have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Ultrasound, as well as certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart and related cardiovascular structures using a variety of imaging techniques.
- Follow established protocols and protocols to ensure accuracy and integrity of results.
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound images to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.
- Provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations to physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and appropriate patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Demonstrate superior customer service and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to maintain professional competencies.
