As a Systems Engineer - Flight Test - Level 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our flight test operations. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians to plan, execute, and analyze flight test activities for various aircraft and systems. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.   1. Plan and coordinate flight test activities for various aircraft and systems.
  2. Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure successful execution of flight test operations.
  3. Conduct in-depth analyses of flight test data and provide recommendations for improvements.
  4. Develop and maintain test procedures, schedules, and documentation.
  5. Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during flight test operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during flight test activities.
  7. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers.
  8. Continuously monitor and evaluate test processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in aerospace technology and apply knowledge to improve flight test processes.
  10. Participate in design reviews and provide input on flight test requirements.
  11. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into flight test plans.
  12. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in flight test procedures and best practices.
  13. Maintain accurate records and document all flight test activities and results.
  14. Follow and promote best practices for quality control and assurance.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of Lockheed Martin and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Aerospace Engineering Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Flight Test Operations And Procedures.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Aircraft Systems, Avionics, And Flight Control Systems.

  • Proficiency In Using Flight Test Instrumentation And Data Analysis Software.

  • Ability To Work In A Team Environment And Communicate Effectively With Other Engineers, Pilots, And Technicians.
