  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the company in accordance with its overall goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth opportunities and potential risks.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders and department heads to ensure alignment of strategic plans with business objectives.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  6. Identify and assess potential partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition opportunities.
  7. Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
  8. Communicate strategic plans and updates to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, customers, and other industry professionals.
  10. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  11. Manage and allocate resources effectively to support strategic initiatives.
  12. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to measure the success of strategic plans.
  13. Conduct regular reviews and updates of the company's strategic plans to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness.
  14. Adhere to company values and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
  15. Participate in industry events and conferences to represent the company and stay current on industry developments.

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree In Business Or Related Field: A Strategic Planner Principal At Lockheed Martin Should Have A Master's Degree Or Above In Business, Economics, Or A Related Field. This Level Of Education Ensures A Strong Foundation In Strategic Planning Principles And Techniques.

  • Extensive Experience In Strategic Planning: Candidates For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Strategic Planning, Preferably In A Large Corporation Or Government Agency. This Experience Should Include Developing Strategic Plans, Conducting Market Analysis, And Implementing Strategic Initiatives.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Strategic Planner Principal Must Possess Excellent Analytical Skills To Identify Trends, Assess Risks, And Make Data-Driven Decisions. They Should Be Able To Interpret Complex Data And Use It To Inform Strategic Plans And Recommendations.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior-Level Role, A Strategic Planner Principal Should Have Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Strategic Plans To Senior Executives. They Should Also Be Able To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Planners And Analysts.

  • Security Clearance: Lockheed Martin Is A Leading Defense Contractor, So A Strategic Planner Principal Must Have An Active Security Clearance Or Be Able To Obtain One. This Ensures That The Candidate Can Access Classified Information And Work On Sensitive Projects Related To National Security.
