  1. Oversee all financial operations for the Sikorsky division, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  2. Develop and maintain accounting systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  3. Lead a team of accounting professionals, setting goals and providing guidance and support.
  4. Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
  7. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  8. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert for all Sikorsky division-related financial matters.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve accounting processes.
  12. Identify and address any potential financial risks or issues.
  13. Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  14. Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Strong Foundation In Accounting Principles, Finance, And Business Management Is Necessary For This Role.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Accounting Experience: Previous Experience In Accounting, Preferably In A Leadership Role, Is Required To Effectively Manage And Oversee The Accounting Team.

  • Knowledge Of Gaap And Government Accounting: Familiarity With Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Government Contracting Regulations Is Essential For This Role.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Ability To Analyze Financial Data, Identify Trends, And Make Strategic Recommendations Is Crucial For Success In This Position.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As An Accounting Lead, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team And Communicating With Various Stakeholders, So Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are A Must.
